Case Study

The Client:  Charles City Council

The client is wanting to promote their upcoming annual summer bonfire event. Each year they create new collateral for promoting the event and they try to one up the year before. 

 

Target Audience: The target audience is the residents of Charles City and surrounding areas. The audience includes individuals between the ages of 16-55, single and married, and with or without children.

The Problem:

The Charles City Council is wanting to promote their upcoming annual summer bonfire. 

It's a family friendly event that draws a lot of traffic each year from residents of Charles City and surrounding counties. They need collateral that can bring printed as well as posted digitally on their website and social media platforms.

 

Media Pieces:

  1. A high-resolution image that can be printed on flyers and bus stop signs. 

  2. A high-resolution image that can be posted on the clients website and social media platforms. 

 

Design Process:

This project showcases my advanced editing capabilities and uses various modes to get different effects. The letters have a burn around the edges but appear to be on fire. There is added smoke to the sky to reinforce the bonfire message.
